Become a magician! Learn basic magic effects, history, theory and philosophy of performing magic in front of an audience in a historic vaudeville theatre. Experience both close-up and parlor magic including effects with cards, cups, ropes and more. This Introduction to the Art of Magic is great for all skill levels and abilities. At the end of the course, students will be performing LIVE for family and friends. The course fee is $195 per student. There is a minimum of 3 students and maximum of 12 students (ages 8 to 18 only). All materials are included with the course fee. This course will take place at Salem's Historic Grand Theatre (187 High St NE, Salem, OR 97301) from July 28 to July 30, 2025. The class begins at 11am each day and ends at 1pm.
