While universally known for her delightful children’s stories and illustrations, she was so much more:  author, scientist, conservationist, illustrator, farmer - a truly extraordinary woman. We will tell her story, present a Country Fair celebrating all things Edwardian and, of course, an Edwardian-themed Peter Rabbit Cream Tea with Confections. This is essentially the scone and dessert courses of an Afternoon Tea tailored to delight our friends of all ages.  Professor DR Schreiber will perform at 2pm.

Evoking the spirits of magicians from a bygone era, Professor DR Schreiber, The Historical Conjurer, will lead us on a stroll through the past centuries of conjuring entertainment.  Together, we will explore historical events, literary and cultural figures, and the science and art of conjuring which has lead to our present day search for the mysteries of magic. 

Then the atmosphere shifts

Step beyond the veil with  master séance host Seth Howard. Drawing on years of experience in spirit communication and theatrical séance, Howard invites you into a live, immersive encounter where the spirits don’t just get discussed—they make themselves known. Witness chilling manifestations, uncanny messages, and moments that blur the line between performance and genuine contact.
